Extracorporeal shockwave therapy is used to treat and manage musculoskeletal and soft tissue pain in horses.  Shockwave therapy has many indications including but not limited to insertional desmopathy, suspensory ligament desmitis, muscle soreness and back pain.  The procedure is non-invasive and provides fast alleviation of pain as well as accelerating the healing process.  TEVS has a mobile shock wave therapy system which makes the procedure simple and accessible to all.

IRAP Therapy

IRAP therapy is used to help prevent and treat joint disease (osteoarthritis) in horses.  Your own horse's blood is collected and then specially incubated to produce regenerative and anti-inflammatory proteins.  The end product (protein rich serum) is then injected into your horse's affected joint.  There is no need for the addition of drugs and therefore no need for extended competition withhold periods.  IRAP therapy aims to reduce the inflammatory phase of joint disease.  This limits it's progression thereby reducing pain and increasing the longevity of your horse's performance / racing career.
